Candarli Port

North Aegean Candarli Port project, which is planned to be 910 million euros, and the cost of the breakwater tendered alone is 230.5 million TL. The capacity of the North Aegean Candarli Port is expected to be 120 million tons per year. The current container capacity of all ports in Turkey is 57 million tons. The North Aegean Port is one of a kind in Turkey on its journey of almost 30 years.
On the other hand, it was announced that Candarli Port, which will serve the Aegean hinterland, will be implemented in the Annual Program. In this context, it was noted that studies will be initiated for the project of Candarli Port according to the appropriate load type and scale. Candarli Port, the last turn before the Straits, is seen as one of the great opportunities to connect East Asia to Western Europe by sea and land. Experts underline the need to enrich Candarli with new functions that combine ship maintenance and repair, fuel supply, ship supply and free zone concept with production and transport.
When completed, the port will serve as an important regional transit port and logistics center in the Aegean Region. The tender process continues with the Privatization or YİD model of Candarli Port. Within the framework of the 2023 Vision, it will make a great contribution to the trade infrastructure and logistics sector in our Aegean Region.
Candarli Port is planned to be the largest main port in Turkey, where intercontinental transit container cargoes are transferred with a capacity of 4 million TEU after its construction is completed. As port construction continues, investment land that earns investors a lot is increasing M2 prices every day, so experts point to it as an unmissable opportunity. Candarli, which will also be one of the 10 largest container ports in the world, will be able to make the region a logistics base as an important center for transferring transit cargoes to Turkey.
