To improve the quality of health service delivery, 30 projects including with a total of 42,459 beds, health campus, public hospital, city patient that are being carried out by Public-Private Cooperation (KÖI) Method.
Mersin, Adana, Yozgat, Isparta and Kayseri City Hospitals were completed and put into service. Ankara Bilkent, Manisa, Elazig and Eskisehir City Hospitals started to be commissioned in 2018.
Turkey has been making great progress in recent years by investing heavily in the health sector. The country has a total of 28 city hospitals by 2021. These hospitals and projects are in Bursa, Ankara, Istanbul, Kayseri, Gaziantep, Isparta, Yozgat, Mersin, Manisa, Elazig and Eskisehir provinces. In city hospitals, a quality and qualified health service is provided in the comfort of a five-star hotel. These investments, which are referred to as the modern face of Turkey, increase the quality of health care day by day. The privacy of patients is prioritized in the outpatient clinics serving in all branches. The rooms of these hospitals have bathrooms, toilets, wardrobes, and refrigerators that maximize privacy and comfort.
Another 10 city hospitals can be built with the rent fees paid for the city hospitals built with the KÖI model. The payment to be made in three years as the usage price of 10 city hospitals is 31 billion 45 million TL and 4 billion 349 million TL of this amount was paid in 2017-2019. For 2020, 5 billion 679 million TL special allowance was allocated. Between 2017 and 2022, 30 billion 530 million TL rent and service fees are paid for the city hospitals to be built.
City hospitals include state-of-the-art medical devices in the treatment of patients, operating theatres with the most prestigious equipment in international standards, state-of-the-art laboratories where the most accurate and reliable results can be obtained from the tests, sterilization units needed by hundreds of equipment used in operating rooms and life support units that enable the monitoring and measurement of patient parameters. Solutions for all health problems in these hospitals are concluded in a center. City hospitals are building the magnificent hospitals of the future and increasing the value of Turkey’s health sector services.
